FAQ
The questions tradespeople actually ask.

Where do the leads come from?
Planning applications and decisions are a matter of public record. We monitor 13 Essex planning authorities, sort each project by the trades it needs, size it, and flag when to act — so you get a short, ranked list of real jobs instead of raw applications.
Is this legal? Isn't it people's private data?
Planning applications are public record by law — anyone can look them up. We only ever work from what's already public, and we don't publish anyone's personal contact details. The value is in the sorting: which jobs need your trade, how big they are, and when to call.
Do you give me the homeowner's contact details?
No — and we're upfront about that. Homeowner phone numbers and emails aren't part of the public record we work from, and cold-calling homeowners isn't how this works anyway. What you get is the full site address (so you can write — or we'll print and post a letter for you), the work in plain English, the trades it needs, a likely size and value, and the timing. Where an architect or agent is running the job, we name the practice so you can approach the business behind it.
How fresh are the leads?
We refresh every night and send digests twice a week, so you're seeing decisions while they're only days old — not a stale list that's already been worked by everyone.
Which trades is this for?
Anything that follows a building project: loft conversions, extensions and building work, windows and glazing, roofing, groundworks, electrics, plumbing and heating, plastering — and solar/renewables. You pick your trade and we show you where you fit on each job.
Which areas do you cover?
Essex only, for now — 13 of the county's 14 planning authorities. (Braintree publishes its data in a way we can't yet read reliably; it's on the list.) We'd rather do one county properly than spread thin. Other counties follow once Essex is solid.
How much is it?
£24.99 a month — one plan with everything included, no tiers, no contract. It comes with 2 free letters (we print and post them for you), and if your first month isn't worth it, we refund it in full. The free sample is free regardless, so you can judge the quality before any money changes hands.
What are the letters?
Every lead has a real site address. From any lead you can draft an introduction letter — your logo, your quote, your words — then download or print it yourself, or have us print and post it for you using letter credits. Standard post is 1 credit, first-class is 2, and there's a hand-written option for 3. Your subscription includes 2 free letters; top up in bundles after that.
What if it's not worth it?
Then it costs you nothing: if your first month doesn't earn its keep, email us within 30 days of your first payment and we refund the month in full. After that, cancel any time and your access simply runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
Can I cancel?
Any time. There's no contract — your digests simply stop at the end of the period you've paid for.
